    I am a late discovered Autitic ADHDer and have over 8 years’ experience as a support worker, social group facilitator and Allied Health Assistant. I’ve recently qualified as a Developmental Educator and I’m passionate about neurodiversity, wellbeing, community, and supporting neurokin 🌈🧠

The NeuroKini Club is a space for the neurodivergent community to connect and build lasting friendships. Utilising the Mighty Networks platform, you can access the community from your browser or the Mighty Networks App!

  1. You’ll get access to an online community hosted by Kendra, where you can make posts, share your interests and ideas, ask questions of the community and directly contact your new friends.

  2. Each month you’ll have the option to attend our in-person community meet-ups in Salisbury East beginning February 14th.

I'm so thankful I get to share fun and whimsy with these groups and see their friendships grow We really needed longer to explore but I'm looking forward to next time!

This year I've been practising and modelling: 1. allowing myself to make "mistakes" with the goal of also persevering to finish projects and 2. allowing myself to do my crafting in spaces where there is typical social expectations These cuties are the result ✨️ Crafting is such a great tool for ND people to connect with others without the typical social demands. I love that it is supposed to draw my eye contact so it eliminates my automatic thoughts around eye contact. It is also often a soothing and repetitive motion that my brain and body love for concentration. Though, I CANNOT count stitches or rows of crochet/do math whilst in social settings, I save that for when I don’t want/need to engage socially. #adelaide #neurodivergent #actuallyautistic #autism #adhd
